Bengal Eagle Owl
Asymmetrical Earrings

The Indian Eagle-Owl also called the Rock Eagle-Owl or Bengal Eagle-Owl (Bubo bengalensis) is a species of large horned owl found in the Indian Subcontinent. They were earlier treated as a subspecies of the Eurasian Eagle-Owl. They are found in hilly and rocky scrub forests, and are usually seen in pairs. They have a deep resonant booming call that may be heard at dawn and dusk. They are typically large owls, and have “tufts” on their heads. They are splashed with brown, and grey and have a white throat patch with black small stripes….http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Eagle-Owl

~~~~I chose images of Eagle Owls to create this nature themed pair of asymmetrical earrings. The round image is printed on photo paper and sealed under a 1″ round epoxy disc with a silver tone metal eagle above the disc. The owl on branch is on laminated photo paper layered with chipboard, it stands 1-1/4″ tall with metal charms dangling below. The earrings are finished front (main picture) and back (2nd picture). They dangle from surgical steel ear wires at a length of 3-1/4″. Images are flat with an amazing 3 dimensional look to them.~~~~
